Term:
bacterium (informal)
Definition:
a program which, when executed, spreads to other users and
systems by sending copies of itself; since it infects other
programs, it may be thought of as a system virus as opposed
to a program virus. It differs from a rabbit in that it is
not necessarily designed to exhaust system resources.
